Our Story
Genki Media LLC® was founded in Washington DC in 2010 by entrepreneur and media and arts leader Michael M. Clements with the ethos that Business + Creativity = Happiness. One of its first ventures, the trailblazing paint and sip concept, ArtJamz, grew from a roving paint party into a global reaching business that generated millions and brought the gift of creativity to hundreds of thousands. During that time, Genki Media has also partnered with leading magazine publishers, produced television, film, theatrical and podcasts projects and published books. We have a lot going on! Why Genki Media? Because in Japanese, the characters Gen (元) and Ki（気) form the word “Genki,” which means “a happy and healthy condition.” So, we ask: “Are you happy with your business?”
